Last updated: 29 August 2026. THE PICKED EMPORIUM LTD (company number 16460347), which operates the Beauty Style Salon brand, is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Its registered office is 121 Top Flat Dean House, London Road North, Redhill, Surrey, England, RH1 3AL. This notice explains what we collect, why we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you request an appointment, we collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, requested service, preferred date and time, notes you choose to provide and the nearby-area page that led you to the form. We also retain limited technical information needed to protect the form from misuse. The originating IP address is stored only as a keyed, non-reversible hash rather than as a raw address.

How we use it

We use appointment details to respond, agree a service and price, arrange or change a visit, provide relevant preparation or aftercare information, prevent spam and maintain an operational record. We do not sell personal information and this website does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies.

Our lawful basis

We process an appointment request with your consent and to take steps at your request before providing a service. We may keep limited records where needed for legitimate business administration, security, legal obligations or the handling of a complaint.

Who receives information

Authorised salon staff can access appointment records. The website uses Cloudflare to route and protect web traffic and a secured hosting provider to run the application and database. A configured notification provider may receive the minimum details needed to alert authorised staff to a new request. Providers act under their own contractual and security obligations.

How long we keep it

We keep appointment information only for as long as it is needed to manage the visit, maintain necessary business records and resolve any enquiry. Spam-prevention cache entries expire automatically. Records that are no longer required are deleted or anonymised in line with the salon’s retention process.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy where applicable, and you can withdraw consent for future use. To make a privacy request, use the website form, select “Help me choose”, and state “privacy request” in the notes. We may need to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing a record.

Security

The application uses encrypted HTTPS traffic through Cloudflare Tunnel, server-side validation, rate limiting, anti-spam checks, access-controlled administration, audit events and a separate operational database. No internet service can promise absolute security, but access and storage are limited to what the service requires.
